Rask Assigned; Fernandez Ready?

Tuukka Rask has been sent back to Providence just two days after recording his first career NHL shutout. Meanwhile, Manny Fernandez was back at practice today. Fernandez has been out since January 8th with a bad back. If Fernandez cannot make the road trip Wednesday, then Rask will be recalled again to join the club.

In other news, I just have to officially give the Montreal Canadiens credit for having the ugliest uniforms in the history of any pro sport. Congrats Habs fans, it's the only award you win this season.

Could you please bold the font on your posts - My eyes are still screwed up from looking at those fricken ugly hab sweaters - I always figure no one could out do the old Vancouver uni's. One good thing is now the habs look and play like crap.

Lol I rather see Rask then Manny but something tells me that hes here to the end unless its a major deal that PC really likes. Manny brings experience in the playoffs just in case Timmy folds under the pressure. Not saying he will but just in case.

I dont think we should be so quick to get rid of Manny either. I have been a huge Thomas supporter and will remain that way, but having Manny there is a huge factor as far as giving the team a second playoff option.

If we can cash in on something sweet with Manny go for it, but it would come in a package for anything significant. No one is going to pay big for a pending UFA without say, a first rounder and a prospect.

This should be a hard hitting affair tonight. I love these types of games when players start too loose there tempers. Bring it on Philly.

Is anyone worried about a letdown tonight? It seems that every time we beat the Habs there is a significant fall-off the next game.

2 periods over & tied 1-1.

Overall this is a good result seeing that the Bruins have not shown very much intensity tonight. Apart from the Thornton-Yelle-Bitz line, the other B's are playing in a fog. Very little attention to detail and a lot of sloppy play. As for the PP, if this were football I would decline the penalty.

Having vented my frustration, the Bruins are still in a position to win this game despite the poor effort. However they need to show much more intensity and move their feet. They appear to be standing around for the most part & playing not to lose rather than asserting themselves and playing to win.

well yet another ofer on the powerplay. yes they won 3-1but this effort is going to come back and bite them in the ass eventually. this is four games in a row now. just my two cents.
