Tkachuk to Boston? Would you do it?

This is taken from Usually the information there is 100% inaccurate and made up, but I decided to post it anyway:
Sources close to Tkachuk tell me there are currently six NHL clubs on his current wish list.

In no particular order….

1. Boston
2. Rangers
3. Capitals
4. Possibly Pittsburgh (depending on where they are in the standings)
5. Detroit
6. San Jose

This is a preliminary list that includes NHL teams who are likely to be in position to strongly compete for a Stanley Cup.

This list is certainly subject to change.

Even if there is no credibility to that site, it got me thinking how nice he would look on a line with Bergeron. If the Bruins could make a move for him, it would add a lefthanded shooting veteran who can play both wing and center. Giving up a first round draft pick is something I would definitely consider, especially since the Bruins will pick between 26-30. Just a first rounder would not get it done but if the price were right, say two out of a combination of Karsums, Lashoff, Nokelainen, or Sobotka then its something to really consider. However, if acquiring him requires both a pick and prospect, and then the package of young players, there is no way Chiarelli pulls the trigger. Nonetheless, I feel that Chiarelli will make a move for a veteran forward before the deadline, but someone along the likes of Mark Recchi is more likely at this point.

In a heartbeat I would do it. I think all it would take is a draft pick, maybe even a 2nd round pick. He's a free agent at seasons end, so cost would be for rental time only....a draft pick will get it done, the Blues are still in rebuild mode.

Why dont we wait and here what Mook has to say since he talks to the hockey gods and knows everything that the bruins are going to do. Lets not forget he played AAA so he must know everything right ?

you sound french. i don't think i need to say anything else to you.

just consider team chemistry...tkachuk may throw things off.

Tkachuk would be a nice addition for the right price but if we have to give up two prospects then I rather throw two prospect, Kobasew and maybe a 1st or 2nd pick towards Martin St-Louis if Tampa's willing to move him. Another player I like that drives hard too the net is Eric Cole. I just hope we dont grab too many guys cause like Mook said Team Chemistry and this is the most important ingrediants in the New NHL everyone needs to be on the same page........... Fallse Owen Sound PS.. I Like Mooks Mom too but dont worry Mook I wouldn't take her from you.

Why Tkachuk? So Kessel can bump him down to the 3rd line when he's back?

No thanks.

Trade Manny to Colorado for Laperierre and a pick.

Hello deep play-offs, Boston.

yes, i'm sure Ian Laperierre is Boston's one-way ticket to the "deep playoffs"...

da wreck, isnt tkachuk a lefty? isnt kessel a righty? dont they play different positions? if you read it again he says play on a line with bergeron which would mean 2nd or 3rd line leftwing right?

Anonymous Anonymous said...

exactly. so what's the point of pursuing a 3rd liner?
he won't cut the top 6 on the b's.

although i could see this:

pretty good third line...

The Bruins have enough talent up front to produce goals, that's obvious. Assuming they don't have more injuries, they are fine for scoring. Laperierre would be a vetran 3rd or 4th liner, that teams hate playing against. I think he's a perfect guy to compliment a good team.

Tkachuk and Kessel can both play positions that are different than what they're listed at. So I think that's irrelevant anyways.

you both are retarded. look at the bruins lineup

so mook, you fuckin idiot, you want your 3rd line to be axelsson yelle and tkachuk. what happens with bergeron and kobasew?? i think most of us bruins fan, except mook and neb, do not like seein axelsson on a line with offensive minded forwards who can produce goals. the point of thinking about tkachuk was so there could be 3 lines of balanced offense. are you simply that slow?

as for da wreck, the same thing can be said about you. its a question about if the bruins should do it, it would allow them to have 3 lines of scoring. as the bruins currenty stand they have one opening for another goalscorer, sturms spot, if they want to replace him. whats this nonsense tkachuk is going to replace kessel?? no dipshit. tkachuk would replace STURM, yes sturm remember him?????? hence the need for a left handed shooting winger. 3 lines of balanced offense like they had at the beginning.

while i do agree that tkachuk would be a good addition i like cole and mcdonald better. the bruins already have shawn thornton so theres no need for laperierre.

what pekese is obviously gettin at was that third line left wing position, STURMS position, the one that is probably going to be filled by the ever so danger and gritty axelsson

Relax guys.

Yes that is what the post was directed at, replacing Sturm's lefthanded shot.

okay. gotta love the fact that you're on the internet calling people retards and idiots, etc, while you go under an 'anonymous' name. Not that mine reveals anything about me either, but at least there something to identify myself as.

Keith Tkachuk is a top 6 forward, which as far as I'm concerned the Bruins really don't need to trade for. 3 lines of scoring? sure, why not? I'm convinced they have that with what they have now. If Boston wants to trade for him, awesome. Who am I to say anything? They obviously know what they're doing. They're professionals in first place in their conference.

and yeah, I remember Marco Sturm. I don't remember HIS position being the 3rd line left winger though. Not for any extended periods of time anyway.

Wasnt that post already in another thread?

Let me get this straight; some of you think mook is retarded becuase he thinks that; PC has been doing a great job, Ryder was a good signing, Thomas is better than Fernandez, and that PJ is a great checking line winger?

Just wanted to get that straight,...

BTW, I have often said that I would get rid of Kessel. I was wrong.

Generic Viagra (sildenafil citrate; brand names include: Aphrodil / Edegra / Erasmo / Penegra / Revatio / Supra / Zwagra) is an effective treatment for erectile dysfunction regardless of the cause or duration of the problem or the age of the patient.
Sildenafil Citrate is the active ingredient used to treat erectile dysfunction (impotence) in men. It can help men who have erectile dysfunction get and sustain an erection when they are sexually excited.
Generic Viagra is manufactured in accordance with World Health Organization standards and guidelines (WHO-GMP). Also you can find on our sites.
Generic Viagra is made with thorough reverse engineering for the sildenafil citrate molecule - a totally different process of making sildenafil and its reaction. That is why it takes effect in 15 minutes compared to other drugs which take 30-40 minutes to take effect.
Even in the most sexually liberated and self-satisfied of nations, many people still yearn to burn more, to feel ready for bedding no matter what the clock says and to desire their partner of 23 years as much as they did when their love was brand new.
The market is saturated with books on how to revive a flagging libido or spice up monotonous sex, and sex therapists say “lack of desire” is one of the most common complaints they hear from patients, particularly women.
