Trade Bruin

Well folks, it is now or never. PC is up to something and we all know it. He has just send Lashoff and Stastny down, creating even more space on the roster. He just picked up Stanislav Chistov and sent Finely down. I hate to see it happen, but the most logical situation is that Glen Murray is dealt for a forward. I don't see why Lashoff would have been sent down. He has played great so far and the defense is really that deep right now.

i disagree about lashoff, he has shown that he will have a bright future, but needs more work at the ahl.

Lashoff plays ok, but he takes way too many penalties. When you have a last-place PK, that's not something to take lightly.

And I think you are inviting dissent when you say "we all know it." Maybe some of us are idiots, but I'm not convinced there is a big trade afoot. All we really know is that the rumor mongers are at fevor pitch. It might mean something, but then again, not.

And Murray for another forward? Why? Fix what ain't broke? The only reason I can think of would be cap room, but then what? Sign a free agent? Perhaps PC is trying to put together a package that somebody esle wants, but that seems really convoluted. It just doesn't really make sense.

We have too many centers. And some are playing wing...

Lashoff played great the first 3 games but his play has gone down dramitically and the roster is all set finley got called back up and we have 20 guys

Axey Savy Muzz
Sturm Bergy Boyes
Tenkrat Kessel Chistov
Mowers Primeau Donovan

Alberts Chara
Stuart Mara
Dempsey Jurcina

No more trades for a little bit the roster is set there is no more room right now

why does he have to up to something...i do not know this, as you say i do. he has no roster space is see 4 lines? he has no cap space either.

finley is back and as was commented providence needed a goalie after hannu hurt his ankle, no mysterious movings there.

i do not see any logic to dealing murray.

While I might be inclined to agree that this is minor tweaking, PC better decide if he is goig to try to make the playoffs or write off this year entirely to rebuilding.

The goalie situation is laughable. There is no number one goalie, just a default goalie. If Thomas gets injured, the number of fifty goal scorers in the eastern conference will be determined solely on how many times each team will play the Bruins. Thomas's last outing was defined by wild challenges on every shot and juicy rebounds were there for the taking. If PC can't swing a deal for a true number one, he should just come out and admit to the fans that this is a rebuilding year and be done with everyone's vain hope that some blockbuster trade is going save the team. The more you look at it, you realize that PC is admitting as much by his recent trades.
