Chiarelli looking to move up

Peter Chiarelli stated today that he would like to move up in Friday's NHL entry draft. The Bruins currently sit at number 25. Here is what Chiarelli said earlier,
''Our guys have an eye on one player, I don't know if we'll get him.''
The New Jersey Devils (23) and the Washington Capitals (24) pick right before the Bruins in this draft. It is unlikely Chiarelli can strike a deal with either one of those teams and would probably prefer to pick before the number 2 and 3 seeds respectively. The Flames at 20 and Flyers at 21 seem like potential trade partners.

Trade Kess for the 4th pick, Kane would be a good fit in Boston.

you guys see this from eklund the fucktard-guesser of trades?

*The Boston Bruins are again listening to teams with interest in Phil Kessel. This is likely tied to the belief the Chiarelli would LOVE to get Dany Heatley. Heatley has put out his list of teams and Boston is on it. By the way, How does a player DEMANDING A TRADE get to list his teams again. I mean isn't that more or less like saying he doesn't care if he is traded at all. One thing is for sure, Chara will not be going back the other way.

Personally I enjoy hearing all of the rumors that are out there. I don't believe 90% of them. Hell, I could post rumors with the help of the internet it would be world wide in hours.

One rumor that I keep hearing is Heatly to the Bruins to reunite him with Savard, Chara and PC. Again, personally I like this. Heatly has always been one player that I really liked. So, he made a mistake a couple of years ago and he has to live with that. Side by side I think Heatly is more of a complete player than Kessel. Don't get me wrong, I think Kessel will be a force in the NHL in the years to come, but he is not a two-way player. He could very well become a two-way player but at this time he is a goal scorer.

I would really enjoy seeing Heatly in a Bruin jersey. I don't care what anyone on this list has to say, that is my opinion and I will stand by it.

i dont think that it is what happened in Atlanta that has soured people on him; it's his primadonna attitude and lack of interest in doing anything other than what he wants to do

in short: he has proven himself to be short on character

I too would rather have Heatley then Kessel. Kessel is a very good ONE WAY player.

If anyone could tell me why we wouldn't be a better team without Kessel and Sturm and WITH Heatley i will eat my hat.

I doubt it will happen, but if it does i will be REALLY happy.

Kane is an impressive talent. However, I don't know if Kessel straight up for an unproven rookie is the best move. If Kessel is moved, I suspect Chiarelli will try and get a proven defenseman in return. Kessel for Shea Weber is a deal that keeps popping up.
