explain to me why trading heatley for kessel is a bad idea.

Sign and trade Kessel for Heatley....with regards to the cap....moves can made to bring in a player of his caliber in....Heatley with Savard...come on thats crazy! Finals next year if they do so!!!

why would savard go? just kessel, and maybe sturm or kobasew or someone like this.
savard would not have to leave, nor would he be required--in addition to kessel--to even things out.
everyone just stop and think about this for a second, and stop making these quick decisions. we got bounced from round 2. the problem was scoring...not defense or goaltending...SCORING. why do the pens and wings go to the finals? cause they score a shitload of goals.
mook your so dumb, your looking at just one line, you can not win with just one line, savard and heatley would be sick and everybody knows that, but it is not going to happen because ottawa wont want sturm with kessel, because they wont want to take in all that salary, and we can not take in all that salary.
we lost in the playoffs because are puck moving d-men were injured, and we could not break out the puck to save our lives, which is if kessel was traded, i would say bring in kevin bieksa, thats a player with a reasonable cap hit that would be very useful for us.
anyway, rumor is pc is looking to move up in the draft now, they have their eye on a "special player"
