murray fuckin sucks how can u have him on the second line. the old piece of shit cant score anymore. What the bruins ought to do is either buy him out or bench his sorry ass

Unfortunately i would change Murray and Sturm. When healthy Bergie played well well with Sturm an his wing. Also, mainly because Murray is so one-dimentional now he needs Savard to feed him in the slot.

Not much you can do with Murray, except maybe platoon him with Schaefer.....

I would to see a trade for a top 4 D man. Possible Mccabe, but chia will have to get creative and Timmy is the clear cut starter.

kobasew is a RW and take murray outta there. and put in Wheeler and i think Johnny Boychuck might have a chance up at the big club is the bruins trade some ppl

Everyone has to believe that Muzz will get his walking papers either through a trade or buyout. If the Bruins where to trade Murray I'd hope that it'd be for Mathieu Schneider. The Bruins would get a good puck moving top 4 D-Man while the Ducks would get a Power Foward that they really need. If that trade were to happen think of lines for the Bruins

I want Bouwmeester......!!!!!!!

Trade:

(Boston)
Wideman
Hammil
Lashoff

(Florida)
Bouwmeester

doesn't clear enough cap space for Boumeester. Manny may very well start or at least split time with Thomas. Why buyout Murray when you can waive him and send him to the minors if he looks slow and lost at training camp. Glen may work hard this summer and show up at camp in awesome shape, you never know. Certainly Chia would have to get creative in order to do anything else, but I will after agree with Chia that I don't mind that roster coming to camp. Muzz will just have to earn a spot this year, it is a cap reality for the older players.

matt what r u talkin about. axelsson will be riding on the first line AGAIN. for no reason whatsoever.

That third line is going to be very fun to watch....Lucic is an animal

thorton for scharfer, schaefer hasnt done shit and thorton is a leader in the locker room. if the first line is ryder savard murray, murray will have a much better year. teams will have to cover one of an elite playmaker in savard, two proven scorers (even though murray looked like shit last year) and two dmen who have very good offensive skills (charas slapper, wideman is pretty good with the puck) with a cast like that murray could have 20 25 goals. that leaves the second line as sturm bergeron kobasew, sturm played well with kobs, and bergeron plays very well with sturm.

so here are my lines

ryder savard murray
sturm bergeron kobasew
lucic krejci kessel
axelsson nokelainen thorton

timmy (50 games)
manny (32 games)

i was wondering if there was an opening for a blogger on this site, if there is my email is unamedgrave@gmail.com

I would love to see Ryder, Savard and Kessel. Some nice speed and hands on that line.

Also, let's see if we can get Bouwmeester or Schneider.

Who knows with the addition of one of those Dmen (wishing both) and Ryder it could be a great season.

Lucic Savard Ryder
Sturm Bergeron Kobasew
Axelsson Krejci Kessel
Thornton Nokelanin Schafer

The Bruins will make a trade for sure with so many extra forwards and d-man.

Michael Ryder is a right winger so don't expect to see him on the left side...If Murray goes he will play with Savard if Murray stays he will play with Bergeron...

i know hes a right winger, and i also know he shoots with his right hand, zednick shoots right and plays left wing, i know its not easy, but its possible. savard is a lefty so when they enter the zone he can go to the left boards and pass the puck out from there, savvy on the half boards, murray in front of the net, ryder behind the net chara and wideman at the points. theres lots of plays that can be used if savard plays on the left side of the ice.

doesn't look so bad...but i'm sure some kid from providence will show-up unexpectedly and fire-in 15-20 goals.

Losing Metropolit hurt, he played super...i would pick up a guy like Stephane Yelle to replace him, and i am sure he could be signed pretty cheap and he has alot of grit and heart, fits the bill as a Bruin.

Another thing boys, signing Ryder was a great move, he had 14 goals sitting on the end of the bench and when he did play he was with Steve Begin! How many goals would you expect him to score.Ryder nets 35-42 goals this year if he plays with Savard, he is a shooter and does it from anywhere, something the Bruins were scared to do last year.

I agree with Vince you put Kessel with Savard and Ryder. Kessel had some of his best scoring chances when playin with marc just didn't bury them. Let him develop and put it in like he did in the Montreal series.

Sturm Bergeron Kobasew
Kessel Savard Ryder
Lucic Krecji Schaefer
Axy Nokie Thornton

Yes, Stephane Yelle would be a good addition. He can play both centre and the wing and has won a couple of Cups with the Avs. You can never have enough experience on your team.

Where does Blake Wheeler fit into the lineup in Boston?

9:53 PM
Anonymous Anonymous said...

No need to rush Wheeler, we are very deep on the wing, let him hopefully put up some big numbers in the AHL, wait see what happens with Murray 1st and take it from there. Hopefully Murray worked hard in the offseason on his skating and wants to prove alot of us wrong...i hope!

A lot of you have people on the off-wing... also, Kessel is a center who is being forced to play right wing... they're not going to all of a sudden switch him to left wing. Without a trade, I see it like this:

Lucic-Savard-Ryder
Sturm-Bergeron-Kobasew
Schaefer-Krejci-Kessel
Axelsson-Nokelainen-Thornton

Chara-Ward
Alberts-Wideman
Stuart-Lashoff

Thomas
Fernandez

PP1:
Savard right halfwall
Ryder left halfwall
Lucic in front of the net
Bergeron left point
Chara right point

PP2:
Krejci left halfwall
Kessel left side floater
Sturm right goal-line
Lashoff left point
Wideman right point

PK1:
Axelsson, Bergeron, Chara, Ward

PK2:
Krejci, Sturm, Alberts, Stuart

Good point on not needing to rush Wheeler...I was under the impression that he signed with Boston because he had a reasonable shot to play at the NHL level...

people are putting lucic on the first line, im not sure if that's the proper place for him. 2nd or 3rd I'd say

Smith signed with Ottawa, Schneider would be large...huge addition, we need a puck moving dman looking to make the long outlet pass to our speedy wingers. PC....go get Schneider!!

to whoever said why start fernandez? Ill tell you why. Tim Thomas is a terrible number one goaltender. HE has absolutely NO rebound control and only had good numbers because of superb team defense. He sucks, he is terrible, he is an abomination
