Im not sure about Glen Murray cracking the 50 point mark ever again but the rest I dont see being too off.

I dont know about Glen Murray. For some reason i think the Bruins will trade Murray and sign Bertuzzi

I would rather they waive Murray and sign Shannahan. He would be a huge boost in the locker room for guys like Lucic and Saobtka and still provide some grit and offense for a good value.

to be completely honest with you after seeing krejci's play at the end of the season i can see him having a breakout year....especially with all the other young talent surrounding him. But i could be wrong...

What about Blake Wheeler? Do you see him even playing this year?

So, we're going to have seven 20+ goal scorers on this team? What is this, the 1972 Bruins?

Geez, the day Murray sniffs 20 goals again is the time he starts playing rec league roller hockey.

I see Sturm and Ryder with 35 each

Chalk up Lucic for 20+, but great optimism Matt. There's nothing wrong with that.

I do believe Murray can score 20 again, but I dont know about Schaeffer scoring 14...

Jefe come on Schaeffer had 15, 20, 12 goals a year the 3 yrs before coming here. All of those totals came when he at least played 75 games, only played 66 last year. Matt nice list except Lucic...

I posted this on one of the other blogs to get a sense of what others would think, and it got mixed reviews...

Chicago:
2nd from BOS
Sturm (Boston)
Hunwick (Boston)

Columbus:
Khabibulin (Chicago)
Hamill (Boston)
Krejic (Boston)
Lashoff (Boston)
Another viable prospect not named Kessel, Lucic, or Rask… Bergy is a Star.
Prospect from Chicago

Boston:
Nash (Columbus)
Seabrook (Chicago)

How it works:
Chicago- Loses cap hit of Khabibulin and gain 20-30 goals from Sturm, also a pick.
Columbus- Gains a goalie that is one of the elite, at least 2 stud prospects (Krejic and Hamill), plus other pieces.
Boston- Elite Goal Scorer in Nash and puck moving Defenseman in Seabrook…

Well hopefully Schaeffer proves me wrong, he did look good in the playoffs. He just didnt seem to have alot of grit or grind.

Here's to hoping. And on that note, why not hope Murray and Ryder will regain form as well? If they do, along with Kobesew, Lucic and Kessel breaking the 20 goal mark, who the hell needs Hossa? Or Boyes for that matter.

Not sure about your 3 way blockbuster trade though. Nice math and everything, but Boston has bided their time with Krejci and Lashoff, and I'm not so sure Columbus is ready to yet move Nash.

The Hawks could definitely shave Bulin from their cap, but Seabrook is someone they are very high on. They consider him a core player, and one they are building the franchise around. Puck moving defensemen come at a premium, and they signed him to a 3 year extension because they knew the value of these kind of players is only going to increase.

The Hawks have been finally making smart moves lately, and drafting wisely. I dont think they are going to back track just yet.

It works in logic but to get Columbus to sign off on it it will be hard... They might want a boat load. Sturm is interchangeable, might be better off in Columbus. Chicago is cutting 6.75 in Bulin and 3.5 in Seabrook and add Hunwick and a 2nd.

...well if they did make some or all those moves, I think it would come sometime after the 20 game mark next season.

Shanahan in Boston? Ive been waiting his whole career for that!

A gritty Irish with a one timer? Yeah, I think he would be liked here. Not sure about his current asking price...

Bruins scoring 40 more goals than the top scoring team in the league from last season would be nice but you are not even in the ball park there.

Maybe 220 goals but there is no way they are getting over 300!!!

The numbers are a little optimistic but I think the predictions aren't bad. My disagreement would be Murray getting almost fifty points. I think will be lucky to get thirty points out of him. His production has decreased three consecutive seasons. I hope I'm wrong.

You have too much time on your hands...
I like how the two best players in the 3-way trade went to Boston! I think if Columbus and Chicago are Big Bruins Fans that it may happen...

If the bruins have 250 goals overall I will be ecstatic. Two thirty plus goal scorers is amazing. In all honesty though this is very optomisitic. Someone on this list is going to get hurt and be out for a while. Its just the nature of the beast.

i dont think everything is way out there but i think you have sold some guys short. Krejci is an all star i the making, he has hockey sense that you rarely see. lucic i see having a few more goals. No shot in hell that lashoff hits 28 points
