Bergeron Could go on LTIR
Peter Chiarelli said today that Patrice Bergeron could go on the LTIR list, but has yet to put him on it. Bergeron would have to miss 10 games and 24 days of action. Given his current state, that is more than likely. That would free up 4.75 million cap space, ontop of their 1.3 million they have now. That gives them around 6 million in space.

I say he does it forst chance. That gives Bergy a long time to heal, think about his health and not the team. Maybe Markov can come in with some help on the D (not a savior but a great addition). I still say Bergy is out for the year, or at least the regular season.
what is it with people and markhov...hes in russia...hes not playin in the states this year get it through your heads people
Before you tell people to "get it through your heads", you should fully understand the situation before you look like a complete tool and fool.
Let me learn you appropriately. Just because Markov has signed and is playing in Russia, does NOT mean he couldn't sign and start playing in the NHL any day.
He has what is called an "out clause", and every player who signs in Europe or Russia has one.
what the bruins should do is get forsberg. once bergeron comes back from injury the bruins should have traded away a large salary(murray).
unfortunately forsberg wants to oly play on the sens or the avs. but i agree that murray has to go and chara needs to step and and earn his 7million a yr
