8/31/07 Notes
Manny Fernandez will be unavailable for a few games. Jordan Sigalet was recalled from Providence yesterday. With no Bergeron at practice, the lines for the past three days have been the following:
Axelsson-Savard-Murray
Sturm-Kessel-Kobasew
Schaefer-Metropolit-Bochenski
Lucic-Krejci-Thornton-Reich
Interesting to see Axelsson on the top line again. Didn't the Bruins learn something last season? Also Julien noted that Krejci has been struggling lately, putting him on the fourth line may mean he may be the next one in his dog house.

I think we all want to see Lucic with Savvy and Murray. Maybe one day.
that line did pretty well last year, all things considered. I think Julien was hesitant to re-unite them, because he wanted to completly seperate last season and this season
Actually I remember Axe doing very well on the first line last season.
This is a good thing.
it is the dumbest move in the history of the earth.
I think Julien is putting him back on the first line so he can roll 4 lines for the majority of the night. Don't expect Axelsson to see any powerplay time and also he may be replaced on that top line as the game progresses-- if it is a close game where a goal is needed.
