Murray on the Block?

TSN, the Globe, and NESN (during last night's game) have all reported that Peter Chiarelli is possibly shopping around Glen Murray for a goaltender. As Latrappe said earlier it could be for Nabakov or Giguere. Personally, Murray has been playing great so far (4 goals) and I don't want to trade him now. But, saying that, he does have 3yr/12.5 or so left on his current deal, so the cap relief would be nice. Nabakov does have a hefty deal as well though, so the trade off is a wash. IMO, don't deal Murray. The offense would become weak, and the team won't be as dynamic.

My first choice would be Biron but there'S no way Buffalo will trade him in the conference... My second choice would be Giguere in Anaheim...

Biron is overrated. Giguere is shaky at times too. Both are streaky as well. I would like the Bruins to hold onto what they have and try to build with their farm team and give Hannu the chance to win the #1 job. Especially with Rask two years away. But if he doesn't then Tim Thomas as our #1 will be very ugly.

Biron overrated? You mean the guy, last year, who suddenly get the job from the bench because of Miller's injury and won 11 straight??? You cannot be serious about that statement... Hannu is good but he cannot bailed out the team time to time. He's not there, right no;not enough experience. This team want to win now and if you read PC and JJ comments, they will shuffle the rosters if their not statisfied. PC is, already, shopping for a goaltender...
