Cross Havelid off the list- Traded to Devils
One of the Bruins defensive targets, Niclas Haviled, has been traded to the Eastern Conference foe New Jersey Devils for Annsi Salmela.
The Bruins now are pressured more to make a move, especially when Salmela was the 18th ranked prospect in the Devils organization. The Bruins equivalent, Mikko Lehtonen.
Now, I'm not saying we needed Haviled, and I don't think he was the target we were after, but the Bruins cannot stand pat because I guarantee Washington will make a move as well. With Havelid gone, Morris and Leopold remain options and Kaberle and Pronger remain the big fish.

i just dont think we need to make a move because other people are. haviled is nothing for the bruina to freak out about. i think bringing in cole or antropov is the only chance we have of signing a left winger scorer, tkachuk is going to stay with st.louis. i would rather have cole, antropov plays weak and i think burke would demand too much.
cole is washed up and the only d-men that are worth chasing are kaberle and pronger. and burke really isnt in a position to make terms
leopold and svatos lets do that.
burke is one of the smartest gm's in sports and he knows how to make deals. i think that he could squeeze someone too valuable out of chia, thats all i was trying to say.
rumors are spreading now that we are not going to be in the running for kaberle or pronger, so i was wondering do people think we need a puck moving d-man, a big physical d-man or a left winger for bergys and kobasews line? or do you think the bruins should stand pat, and maybe just sign a character guy?
