BOS and PIT on NHL Network today.
Per the B's official site, St. Pierre has been recalled on an emergency basis. Perhaps Nokie is a no go.
The Pens are going to come out on fire and try to dictate the tempo tonight after their "players only" team meeting on Tuesday. Our B's must be up to this challenge right from the get go & demoralize the Pens right from the start & let them know that they have no chance tonight.
I suspect a chippy affair and a lot of Crosby whining & bitching. The B's need to constantly pound & hit him & especially Malkin. A good old fashioned B's shit-kicking on these players in particular, and the earlier in the game the better, should discourage them - especially Malkin. B's 5, Pens 2!!

The B's may have won round 1, but when the Pens win tonight in round 2 it will be much sweeter. Not only will the B's 9 game winning streak be finished, but so will their 13 game streak at home. How sweet is that?

Awww geez....this is cracking me up! I guess i have gotten a little carried away with this pens fan who braved our board. Every once in a while I have to step back and laugh at my own ridiculousness.
No more offensive language from me (this of course excludes my favorite 4 letter words and colorful combos such as cheesedick and fucktard). I think "festive" is a good colorful word that still makes me kinda laugh, and I'll be sure to go that route from now on.
I'll also be sure to let any "festive" acquaintences I know about this new word so we can share a good chuckle.
All good things must come to an end.
The B's deserve this loss to day- they certainly did not match Buffalo's intensity & Thomas was less than stellar & appeared shaky.
I guess that all in all, a loss at some point was to be expected. However, I find it hard to accept a loss if the effort is not there by ALL players.
There were times today where the B's just stood around waiting for one another rather than take the initiative.
Enough of my rant. The B's are still a great team and I'm sure they will rebound Tuesday & begin another streak. Perhaps in hindsight a loss every 10 games is a good thing. GO BRUINS!!

I think they lost the game because of turnovers in their own end. Forget those open net chances. You can't give up the puck as much as they did in their own end and expect to win. Tim Thomas coughed it up 3 times in the 2nd period. Those kinds of plays lead to goals against.
