Paying $3 million a year for a guy that played over 25 minutes a game, with time on the power play and pk isn't all that bad. I dont't think that's overpaying. See: Bryan McCabe for that.

Nice deal for the Bruins. They should lock him up for 5 years between 3-4 million. Will be a steal in the future. Even 3 million is good for Wideman. he was a major player for us last year, and the only player that could be trusted for offense.

Anybody who says that this team is deep has no idea what hockey is. The only thing that this team is deep in is:
-mediocre players, and
-debt with ridiculous salaries.
That being said, Michael Ryder has a snipe shot and will have a decent year. Any clown who believes Murray has anything left is an idiot. Blake Wheeler will have a big impact on the team this year.
They will probably lock up the 8th seed again. People who actually believe they will be contenders this year should probably just go end their life.
