Bruins Win; Alberts Injured by Vicious Hit
Bruins won 6-3, good game by the B's.
But, once again, a Flyer player unnessessarily hit a prone posistioned player, this time Andrew Alberts, while on his knees.
That is no 5 and counting actions by Flyer's players this season, and we are only 20 or so games into the season.
The NHL needs to take action. Hartnell should get atleast 20 games, and the Flyers should forfeit a draft pick, or have some suspension of the coach.
Honestly, the Bruins season could be lost because of Randy Jones. Patrice Bergeron is arguably the best Bruins all-around player, and he is going to be nearly impossible to replace. Even if the Bruins make the playoffs, without Bergeron they aren't likely to go far. Even Tom Pannacio thinks the hit was bad.
And as I am writing this, I see Hartnell only got 2 games.

what is this 2 games bullshit. apparently all players have to do is say that they are sorry and they're not that kind of player and they'll get off easy. outrageous! that hit was even dirtier than the one put on bergeron. hartnell got off with a slap on the rist and a pat in the ass.
I say first thing you do is " FIRE" the two NHL clowns that run the hole thing!! the latest suspension 2 games is sad really sad. Now the door open for more and maybe even cheeper hits. 30 years ago Hartnell would not of made off the ice!!!!

I like the comments from Collie that said Alberts put himself in a vulnerable position and that Hartnell let up before the check. Of course her did - is that we rode Alberts' head along the boards? I've always said, they won't do anything because then everyone in the league won't hit any more. And to my Flyers fan who laughed and said the B's were pussies for not doing anything - remember this - if Chara or Reich or Ward would have taken Jones and cracked his head - they would get 20 games and know what? Bergie still won't come back. Would have been nice to win 10-0, but I'll take the win. The Flyers are trying to bully other tyeams to shake in their skates when you fight for a puck or head into a corner. One day they'll play another team with a psycho and it'll happen to them and then we'll see what they say. If I was Collie, I'd fine the Flyer's coach and warn that next time, it's coming from the standings. If the F1 can remove points from a team, and UEFA can ban fans from stadiums and kick teams out the league and the NFL can kick anyone and everyone out of the league - the NHL doesn't care because in fact, they want things to get out fo control so maybe more viewers tune in expecting fighting instead of hockey.
This league is a freaking joke. No-one is allowed to talk about what happened for fear of further retribution by the front office. I hate to say it, but it may take someone actually dying from a cheap shot to the head that will open up their eyes. It will probably also be the end of the NHL as they will open doors to all kinds of lawsuits. One can easily play the physical aspect of the game without headshots. Philly is nothing more than a collection of talentless hacks being coached by the same.

Not for nothing guys, it's been two people writing on this site for the past month. Matt and I are the only people writing things up and it's difficult to keep everything up when 4 other people aren't even contributing. Reading post after post about how this site sucks, I feel the need to say something.
Ryan W, Scotianuck, Walshie, Pekese, where the heck are you guys? I got on this site because I thought it was the best Bruins blog out there but I honestly haven't seen much out of you four since coming on. Call me out if you want, but I'm just telling it like it is. If you don't want to contribute then cut ties, there are plenty other people that would like to have your spot.
