Minor trade in Boston

According to RDS.CA and Spector's web site, the Bruins have acquire G Philip Sauve from the Phoenix Coyotes in return of C Tyler Redenback. Sauve have a 4-5 record with a 3.80 GAA with San Antonio, this year.

this is on bruins.com now.. anyone got any ideas? hannu injury not that bad... this guy wouldnt seem to be for the big club.. there is another prospect coming into the system next year. is it just to keep the providence system stocked with real ahl talent?

well this kid played for colorado for a few years back with aebischer so i think he might be good...dont really know for sure

He's assign to Providence while Toivonnen is hurt or maybe... Toivonnen will be traded..

Got me. Other than helping the Bruins out this week and maybe next, I am not sure why. Brown will most likely be sent back to the ECHL.

Maybe Hannu is hurt worse than they thought.

This is a tough read. It is a depth move and nothing else or something is brewing and can lead to a Thomas or Toivonnen departure. With the addition of Sauve, you will have 3 goaltenders in Providence when Hannu will be healthy.
