As I see it at present, the B's roster will be as follows:

This 23 man roster costs $55,073,500. As Murray was bought out, the B's are required to take a 1 year cap hit of $1,383,333 for the buyout. That puts the B's at $56,456,833, a mere $243,167 shy of the limit.
That is too tight to the cap & as such, I expect further moves of PC. Perhaps Fat Alberts will go.

Losing their salary costs would free up $2M but leave us 2 D short on our roster. Are there any D men available besides what we have in our own barn? I don't think what we have on the farm is ready just yet.

This is how a Canadian financial analyst sees the Bruins salary cap situation. Alberts must go, allowing some space and room for another D man, maybe Lashoff at some point.

Don't be surprised to see Manny go down with yet ANOTHER injury, thus putting him on LTIR. This would free up another 4mil for the season and also give Rask (who deserves it) a shot at the big time.
I hear that former B Kyle McLaren is available on the waiver wire. PC should make room & jump at this one. I know he is an ufa at year end, but for $2.5 M he is a good bargian for this year.
