Sobotka sent down

The Bruins sent down Vladimir Sobotka to Providence today.

I kind of had a feeling about this.  He will likely be the number 1 call up, but there was not a lot of space for him.  If Stephane Yelle does not play well, Sobotka could get the call up.  Sobotka should be with the team, but it is kind of a logjam with the forward positions.

WTF is up with axelsson wearing an A for ten games. ward, sturm, ference, or even stuart are much more deserving. -False Quebec

thank goodness for budaj's .750 sv %. bruins got walked on but came out with the win. good start offensively, not so much defensively. good to see wheeler and ryder get goals. that is a confidence booster.

AWESOME!

Kessel, Krecji, Ryder already off the "schneid" (if thats how u spell it)

Love the fact we can throw out 4 solid lines. No more Reich, Hoggan, and non-deserving P-Bruins.

What I hated the most. PJ playin with Savard/Ryder. Trade time?

Axe on the 1st line can work..after all he made Ryder's goal possible. Great to see production from everyone including our PP. Lets hope Manny can show up to play against his old team. Back 2 back wins to start the season would be huge.

Can't stand the lack of coverage from NESN, no post game show? When the Sox play on TBS they manage a post game show on NESN. Guess the B's need to win a couple championships this decade for that.

ok really enough with the PJ hating..by putting him on the first line ryder and savvy can push up more and axe can cover for them defensively if they get caught deep and turn it over...obviously anyone that hates axe has never played hockey or studied strategy or anything...and he should be wearing an A considering he is the longest tenured bruin

your on crack bergie 37. first axelsson blew the first powerplay goal for the avs. he got beat to the net as always. stastny set up his man for an easy goal un-defended. 2nd axelsson over plays the man without the puck on the powerplay always leaving the guy on the side board with a wide open shot ( usually where a sniper sets up... in this case sakic, in other games kovalev where he killed us so many times last year.). i saw bergeron get pissed and fly over to the spot from the opposite side of the rink because axelsson was defending the point man who did not have the puck. 3rd he looks slower than last year. 4th he looks like the hunchback from norte dame when he skates. 5th on the delayed penalty when the bruins pulled there goalie, he stood at the attacking blue line. sorry we do not need a 3 high defensive presence in this case. it should be for ATTACKING the net. you are aware that once the opposing team touchs the puck the play is whistled dead. GO TO THE DAMN NET!.

and no he does not deserve any A on his sweater. he is the longest current bruin, but the A should be given to ward, stuart, ference, sturm, savard who are much more of leaders on the ice than he is. axelsson throws off the first line, despite the goal, and savard is fine defensively. get him off the first line please. -false quebec

i said it a few months ago and i got destroyed here, but i'm gonna say it again.

blake wheeler will be a huge factor on this team.

has he ever played left? why couldn't they put him on the left wing with savard and ryder? i think that would probably one of best options for a top line

yeah im not saying that axe should be a shoe in for an A but i mean you gotta realize what this guy has done...give him a few games if he sucks then yeah ill give you props for it...i really think ward should have it too dont get me wrong...also wheeler is gonna be a beast for this team this year...krej kobe and wheels on a line is gonna be deadly night in and night out

This actually has nothing to do with the Bruins, but I absolutely love the way Eklund throws a rumour out there.

talking about teams interested in Marian Gaborik:

"Plenty. But mainly Ottawa, Washington, Buffalo, Montreal, NY Rangers, NY Islanders, Vancouver, Edmonton, and Los Angeles."

Mainly half the league. Awesome. Good research. Did he talk to his "sources" about said teams? Way to go out on a limb to say that the teams that are interested in every single high profile player out there are looking at Gaborik.

Montreal? you don't say. The ask every girl out to the prom until one says yes Oilers? wow. good job.

Eklund. Wow.

I don't hate Axw at all he just isn't the best option at Left Wing with the best passer in the game.

i love the eklund hating. if everyone stopped visiting his site he would eventually f-off.

since i don't live in boston, i had to watch this game over the internet (yes, you can find it for free) but it was still awesome!
