This is why u don't sign Hossa. You kill your team's flexibilty. Go for Ryder and Redden with the money you wll spend for Hossa. Even guys like Rolston, Vrbata, Kalinin (solid dman from Buffalo),and Orpik.
Also would u sign Huet and trade Thomas and Fernandez??
Yeah, but it is only for one season. You only need 1 plyer which is a scorer this year. Next year you can load up on D we have like 13 million coming off the books.
are you even a bruins fan...HUET is garbage...and so is ryder and redden is injury prone ...rolston already played in boston so thats y why u buyout murray and fernandez that gets u 8 mil plus right there do the same to schaefer theres another 2.5 mil theres 10 mill easily all together now 7 plus the buyouts rought 17 mil considering how much you gotta pay for the buyouts between 10 and 12 million u have to spend
Finally someone who is not praising Michael Ryder. He would be disastrous to the Bruins sucking up cap money that he's not worth. And Redden? He's heading home to play in Edmonton for more money than he's worth.

Matt, let me remind you we already have a goalie in Timmy. The only goalie we really need to sign right now is Auld.
DUMP Manny, Schaeffer and if thats not enough, dump Murrays too. Id love to see Glen come back and prove everyone wrong next season, but Fernandez is our worst contract tie-down. At least Glen is a Bruin as PC would put it.
Also, getting rid of Alberts would not be a smart move. He's not the sharpest tool in the shed, but he is getting better so far every season. He has size, and I dont know if you watched but he was murdering Habs in the playoff games he did play. I felt when he was playing he was our 3rd best d man last year.
Ryder can go and sign with Columbus, thank you, and if we dont sign Hossa, were still doing OK. With a healthy Bergie and Savvy all season, we WILL score more than we did last season.
