Bruins do it: Make the Playoffs
First off, I am back. Had some computer issues for a while then was in Washington DC and so on.
Congrats to the Bruins for making the playoffs for the first time since the lockout. One thing please...no matchup with New Jersey or Montreal. We have played them both since 2002 and that is all we have played. Everyone we are one and done.
I'd like to see a matchup vs. either Washington, Carolina or Pittsburgh. I feel the Bruins could knock off any of those teams.
At this point, I am just glad the team made it because the expectations were so low this season, and to top that off with injuries up the wazoo.
The Bruins have been playing great hockey as of late, and by tomorrow morning we should have a better idea of where we will finish this season. But as of now, 6th place is nice and playoff berth better. The Dream Team?

Glad to have you back Matt.
I cant say how happy I am. I was glowing all last night, and cant wait to see them in the playoffs.
I think they got a shot a both Washington and Pitt.
The Bruins could very well find themselves making a run, if we can win the first round.

Do the math.
We are playing Montreal in the first round.
If Pitt wins in reg or in OT, they move to first, and philly stays in 8th. That leaves us at 7th with Montreal at 2nd.
If Pitt loses in reg or OT, Philly moves into 7th, and Montreal stays in 1st with the Bruins at 8th.
Thats it. I want some Habs blood.

If Philly loses in OT, they get a point that will tie our record, but we took the season series.
Montreal is going down.

Just like the Sens and leafs....Montreal owns Boston in the regular season, but this year they will surely shit the bed in the playoffs!
If the team can get back key people before the first playoff game, then we have a great chance to beat montreal. the playoffs are a hole new season. GO B's
