This is a big one tonight folks. The Habs are in town, the playoffs are on the line, and Zdeno Chara could possibly be making his return to the lineup.
I have my tickets in hand ready to go. There was no way I was going to miss this one.
Lets just get the logistics out of the way. Yes, the B's have lost all 6 games against the Habs so far this season. Yes, they can't put the puck in the net still. And yes, it is true that the B's have won every time that I've said it's time to get up for a game like this.
So, dare I say it, it's time to get up for this game. The comfort zone for a playoff spot is razor thin with the Capitals, Sabres, and even the Panthers making a late season run for it. Try and ask a Capitals fan if their trades made a difference for their team and you'll see why the B's should have made some sort of move. There would have been a way for the B's to land Federov for the stretch run.
Expect a physical game and the B's to set the tone early. They have to prove that they belong while keeping themselves out of the box by taking stupid penalties. Each time the B's have lost their way this season against the Canadiens is when they started running around and playing out of their system.

We know the Bruins didn't make a trade at the deadline. Washington did. It was a different team and different circumstances. Get over yourself already and let it go. Every post you mention that. WE GET IT! YOU WANTED THEM TO LAND SIDNEY CROSBY, ALEX OVECHKIN, AND JASON SPEZZA AT THE DEADLINE!!!

I would rather load up in July then in February, any season. I still hope the Bruins can land Hossa in July, but it is far from a sure thing. Mark Steit is a free agent in july, and if the Habs don't sign him I think he could help the Bruins PP.
this team sucks. they cant score a friggin goal. and Julien still keeps murray and axelsson on the top line. obviously it isnt working and its hurtin savard. this team was playin best when murray was out and sturm was on savards left. fuck murray and axelsson i hope their gone in the offseason. where has axelsson gone, he looks invisible every game, both of these bums are washed up and have been for 2 years now. idiot chiarelli could have gotten something for then now were stuck with them and getting nothing in return.

Hello again b's fans Well no matter what the whiners say about this team that was a gutty game they played saturday night, and a big point they got. some thing to build on 7 games to go I predict they will go 5 and 2. If you are really true fans you would think the same!!!!! START BACKING YOUR TEAM!!!!
what you fools don't realize is that axelsson is being utilized the wrong way due to the series of injuries this team has. Axelsson is no 1st line guy, not even a 2nd line guy. His optimal role is as a 3rd line checking forward, and he is one of the best in the game at doing said job.
anyone who thinks he should be scoring or an assist machine for one reason or another clearly hasn't watched this team for the past 10 years that axelsson has been with us. if you think otherwise, you're a fool and you know nothing about hockey.
i'll be at the toronto game tuesday night watching the bruins pummel the home team right from the opening puck drop.
