The Official "eat your crow on Tim Thomas" post

Okay people, line up. I'll be the first to eat my crow. I said many times Tim Thomas is a decent starter, but not a championship one.

Thomas is now an all-star and should get some consideration for the Vezina.

I want anyone who was a Thomas hater to admit it.

Now if we can find a way to get rid of Fernandez...

Unknown said...: I wouldnt consider myself a Thomas hater...he just makes really great saves and then a lot of the goals he lets are soft. He's been amazing this year no doubt but if you watched a compliation of all the goals scored on him while in boston you would say "wow, he's better than that."; 1:20 PM
Anonymous said...: Unorthodox, yet effective. SOme of the saves he made last night were just freaking unreal. Some forget that he had something like 15 shutouts one season when playing in Europe.

Anonymous said...: Wait and see what Fernandez has next year, if he ever gets healthy again. Losing Kalus and a 4th rounder didn't put a dent in the overall depth, so I'm not bitter. If Manny can find his game next season and doesn't mind being 2nd banana to Thomas, all the better. 4mil is a lot, but PC can always swallow his pride and waive Manny, he knows already the deal was a mistake, but I really do have faith in him (PC)and I think he will always do what he thinks is right for the team.; 6:43 PM

Anonymous said...: I've said from the beginning that Tim Thomas is the best street hockey goalie in the NHL. While he's still flip flops all over the crease he has shown signs of restraint and good positioning at times. He's the only reason the B's are poised for a post season birth.; 4:51 PM
