Metropolit Boston Bound?

From a european website, click here.

Translation:

Glen Metropolit, at which Berne and Lugano are to, stands according to the “federation” before the signing of the agreement with the Boston Bruins. The Canadian, who led 2006 Lugano as MVP to the Meistertitel, played last for the St. Louis Blues, found so far into the NHL however still no new employer.

That would solve this question. This is from a post in Gerz's Hockeybuzz blog about some concerns that I still have.

"3rd or 4th line Center - Mark Mowers does not help our "Plan A". That being said, he is very valuable serving many possible roles in any number of "Plan B" situations. I'd rather call up a young center to fill that last spot that was vacated by moving Kessel to 1st or 2nd line duties. For a defensive role, I like Ben Walter, and for a more offensive, I like Krejci."

The striker Glen Metropolit, at which Bern and Lugano are at it, stands according to the "alliance" before the contract signature with the Boston Bruins. The Kanadier, that 2006 Lugano led as a MVP to the championship, played finally for the St. Louis blues, found until now however yet no new employer in the NHL.

that is the translation, and my reaction is this. What is PC doing, while I think this is a potential good move if you wanted him in Providence, but for now we need a WINGER who can put pucks in the net, we don't need 200 centers on one team. With that said, does anyone know whats up with that Thrashers trade rumor?

He can play center and wing. He isn't much more than a 3rd liner, though. Could fill out our bottom end with NHL talent if Julien decides to move Kessel onto one of the 1st 2 lines.
