Seabrook to Boston (br2)

From HockeyBuzz,

"Five teams are said to be offering up talent for Seabrook. The Rangers, Canadiens, Flyers, Canucks, and Bruins are all said to be offering up possible deals. The Hawks want a young star forward who is mainly a center and but can also play some spot wing..."

Matt's Take: I am not sure who would go the other way. That would seem like Brad Boyes to me. Center, can play wing. I don't know if I would be willing to trade Boyes for him, but then again Boyes has been struggling of late, only 3 goals this season.

I am a ranger fan. If we get Seabrook, do you know who we will give up?

Ranger fan, I would guess possibly Petr Prucha, I am not sure if he can play center though.

Ranger fan, just jugding by a quick look at your roster, the offense doens't really need Prucha. I am looking at Seabrook's stats and potential and he could emerge as a number 1 guy. He is young and this is only his 2nd season. He was overlooked last season due to the play of guys like Crosby, Ovechkin, Boyes, Phaneuf and Lundqvist.

Well Matt, Prucha is having a slow start but he is a good player with a lot of heart. Hardest worker on NYR. We need Prucha becuase Cullen really isn't doing much. I would do Seabrook and Ruutu to the Rangers for Al Montoya (Wont start for us and Chicago needs a goalie), Blair Betts (pretty underated and we can call up Brandon Dubinsky or Dwight Helminen from Hartford) and 2 picks.

It sounds like a good trade
