Fueling Speculations

Spector's web site report that the SJ east coast scout was seen at the game between Boston and Toronto. Since SJ won't face any northeast division rival, this year; the scout presence fueled speculations that something might be brewing between SJ and Boston.

he was inteviewed in the nesn both between periods...not hard to spot.... teams are constantly scouting each other, doesnt mean a lot in my opinion.

(now that i said that they will do something crazy like trade the captain for three guys, nah that crap doesnt happen)

I can tell you that LA's scouts were at some of Ottawa's games about 3 weeks ago and they don't play this year.

That is what started all the rumours with those two teams. So I wouldn't put much stock in it. I assume they scout teams in case they want to trade sometime during the year. They most likely were scouting both teams, not just Boston.

alot of people agree Tim Thomas is not a number one goaltender the hope was going into the season Hannu Toivonen could fill that roll when that failed they gave the job back to Thomas and called up Brian Finley my question is when will they give Tuukka Rask a chance?

Rask cannot play in the NHL until next season. He has to finish his military time first. I assume he will be in camp next year.
