PJ Axelsson

For all of those people earlier in the year wanting to trade him, bashing him for his lack of offensive output, he has been a large surprise. He has been one of the top scorer's and has been clutch all season long. I definately would not trade him now, and Lewis's decision to put him on the 1st line was a great idea.

Axelsson was put into a defensive role since forever. I don't think he really had a chance to prove that he can score on a regular base. I'm not surprise by his play because he's smart with puck.

I agree. I think what Lewis did was genius: forget about the past and take a fresh look at everything. He did have his own preconceived notions about lines too, but he gave those up in order to find something that worked. Putting PJ on the Savard line was the key to making this team go!

And the big bonus is that his smart play should not only make that line score, but keep their +/- looking very good.

It's great to see PJ get more attention. He's worked so hard over the years and really deserves it.

neb by you comin to this website, it ruined the website. trading pj would be a very smart move, the goals he has scored have put given to him on a silver platter by savard. everyones so happy with pj , just wait when theres 1 min left in a game and he chokes with an easy chance to tie the game. savards a great player, if anyone else was on that line then that line would be unstoppable.

pj is Nothing more than a 3rd or 4th liner on any tEam. he shouldnt Be on the fIrSt line. This guy needs to go Along with Jacobs. wE have no one else to on the play first line and thats Why HE is on it. He cant Skate, cant stick handle, cant shoot, bUt can give him Credit he is smart and has good defensive abilities, and decent pK abilitieS, hes just not a first liner and if they trade him for a first liner then why not? Hes only goin to Decline In the next year so why not get a younger, better, half deCent player in return for a 3rd/4th liner? oK! Read the caps...

PJ is heart and soul of the Bruins organization no matter what line he plays on or role he is asked to partake. Trading him would be worse on the Bruins than what the Big Joe trade was last season.
He can play any role and is the only player this season who has not taken a game off - hell I have never seen him relax for even one shift. Hard work is contagious and leads to victories.
Once again people posting comments just to make up controversy when no Bruins fan in their right mind really would think of getting rid of PJ for real.

murphy, I think I disagree with you on that point. neb has improved this blog. He brings intelligence and knowledge not scene on this site before.

I am not saying his an expert, but he has a well thought out opinion and I find I agree with much of what he says.

You have never really said why you think he is an idiot, and you never really bring post anything insightful in your comments.

So you don't like PJ, so what. You have your opinion of PJ and neb has his.

While it may be true that neb is of Jewish decent, I have seen his girlfriend and doubt he has homosexual tendancies.

Excellent note though James. You may want to check it over before you post because there were too many capitals.
