I didn't see the game so I'll just say what I hear/saw on highlights.
Fernandez sucked. He let in 4 goals on only 22 shots. Granted he is still a little rusty.
The offense couldn't put it together.
Now some positives...
Defense only let up 22 shots, which on most nights would be a good number.
Fights. I believe Shawn Thornton dropped the gloves.

Lucic and Thorton dropped the gloves I believe. As for them loosing I'm not surprised maybe they'll do better against Phoneix
Bruins need to sign Danny Markov if they're serious about being tougher to play against. Markov can play solid defence and drop the gloves when necessary. Shawn Thornton is just a one trick pony.
I thought they played an alrite game! Manny let in two soft goals! I like the energy and the phiscal play and think they need a little time to learn julians system!
manny looked bad-andrew ference looked really confused out there, and his mistakes lead to many stars opportunites.
granted, this was a seasoned stars team, but i think the bruins played ok for most of the game...clearly the defense is an issue, but I thought chara played a great game.

Danny Markov will fix things? You must be out of your mind. Danny is a #3 d-man at best, and the Bruins do not need to throw more salary space at a #3. There will be lots of better free-agents at the end of this year, and right now it is good for th younger guys to get some experiance. Potential UFA d-men include: Dan Boyle, J-M Liles, Norstrom, Roszival, Redden all better then Danny Markov. Also in Nashvill both Ryan Suter and Shea Weber will be RFA's, and they won't be signed until ownership is figured out. I would part with a few draft picks for one of those 2, especially Weber.
Saw the game and was greatly disappointed. Manny played horrible and was shaky in nets.
Bergeron played great, so did Chara.
Ward was horrible.. Bruins need to get rid of him.
I'd have to say that Kessel was probably the best player for the bruins. He played hard and had good opportunities, if he had someone good on his line, I'm sure he would do so much better.

You are the one that's out of your mind...All I said was Markov would make the Bruins tougher to play against, he is a definite upgrade over the likes of Ference and especially Ward.
You suggest trading more draft picks to get a defenceman? Well, haven't the B's given up enough of their youth over the last year??? Kalus, Boyes, Jurcina.....to name a few...I'd wish the B's would keep their draft choices for a change. Markov could be a nice addition while kids such as Lashoff & Mark Stuart develop more in the AHL.
The Bruins SUCKED last night. They look like a team coming off back to back nights. What does that say about tonight? They were running around all night like a chicken with its head cut off.
getting Weber as a RFA with a few draft picks as compensation is good deal. Not very many draft picks actually make NHL rosters, let alone become impact players. Weber is a future Norris candidate. I suggested this as a better alternative to signing Markov, not as what I think they should do. They should let they guys they have develop this season and see what the summer has to offer.
also Markov has stated he won't sign for less then 3 years, except for a contender

Manny lost it for us.
Letting in four out of 18 shots, two easy ones ist terrible.
Thomas saving 36 in Phoenix plus becoming 1st star says it all !
