Absoultly Great
Chira strikes again trading a young winger who can score and play gritty for a goalie who can"t stay healthy .
Looks like Chira just still does not get it.

Chia for sure but the guy who doesn't get it, since 1975, is JJ.

I liked Kalus and watched him fighting for a spot in last years rookie camp but maybe the team saw something in him that they were nervous about? To get something, you have to give something and my feeling is we got a better than average goalie for a prospect, which we have allot of. Goalies are like pitching in baseball, it is really 50% or more of the team.

Like anything, it will take some time but I have a good feeling about this move. Check back in 6 mos and we will know for sure.

JJ never has and never will get it. Lets only hope he has given up trying to get it, and has given that job to his GM (finally). Never mind the fact that Ray and Cam are cupless in Boston.

Its not that they were nervous about Kalus in any way. He came up, finished and hit. We had to sacrifice something good to get Manny, and Kalus was as good a player as we have in minor system.

Im not so sure about this deal. the only thing that worries me is the injuries. I think David Aebischer would have been the best choice at goalie. I kinda think pc and jj messed up on this. hopefully im wrong.
