Phil Kessels contract has a bunch of bonuses in it, it doesn't mean that he'll make that much, but it still has to count against the cap for that much. And Travis Green was bought out buy the Bruins so that part of his salary still goes against the B's cap. 10 mil is pretty good though, they could add one great player or a few good ones.

Smyth and a Seasoned netminder should leave them 2 mil shy of the cap.

Zhamnov does but the cap for the B's is 54.4 million. So I left it off. Insurance covers it anyways.
