Things are very quiet...

These last few days have been very quiet when it comes to trades and free agent signings. I do see it starting to heat up as July 1st comes up.

I remember talking to former GM Mike O'Connell years back saying that the rumors that you do not hear are the ones that are true. Rumors are rumors they can start anywhere. Another thing he said is a GM will make 100 calls a day regarding trades and so on, out of those 100 calls maybe 1 will work.

All we can do is wait and see, as the day comes closer I see the Bruins being pretty quiet early on in the day unlike last year when they signed Chara and Savard vairly quickly.

Funny..MOC only made one call to trade Joe Thornton...still this day...that trade makes no sense....they literally got NOTHING out of it....don't try and respond and say they did...because they didn't

i read that NESN is not renewing Dale's contract that ended this year...

"The house-cleaning hasn’t been limited to just the team and front office in Boston. A NESN source confirmed today that longtime play-by-play announcer Dale Arnold won’t be returning to the broadcast booth this season. Arnold spent 11 seasons calling games for the Bruins on NESN but with his contract up this week, NESN has decided not to renew."

take care Dale, you'll be missed by the Bruins family.
