Thank you and Thomas is staying put...

First I want to thank Matt for letting me come on board and letting me voice my opinion and trying to find rumors and news, I will work to find out.

I recently spoke with an former Bruin who now is still close with the organization, he informed me that the Bruins love Tim Thomas and he is not going to go anywhere. That does not mean they won't bring someone in to split time but I do not see him going elsewhere. I do remember a rumored trade before the trading deadline this year which would have sent Timmy Thomas to Ottawa for Martin Gerber, others were involved but obvisouly the deal feel threw.

This time next week the Bruins roster could look a little bit different, we shall wait and see!

If Tim Thomas stay as their #1, this team will suck. Thomas is in Boston because he's a feel good story. The only place where Thomas is consider as a #1 is Boston. PC passed on Toskala then Vokoun. Chiarelli is a clueless individual if he think that he can win with Flip-flop Thomas. By the way, he said that the Toskala deal was too expensive but he give a 3.5 per contract to Sturm. Nice contradiction..

No one ever said Thomas was going anywhere. The thing on Gerber is, if you want to get to the Stanley Cup you have Gerber on your team. Gerber was with Ottawa, lost in the Finals. Gerber was with Carolina and won the cup. Gerber was with the Ducks in 2002-2003. Since the strike Gerber was suppose to be the starter for Carolina and Ottawa before lossing it.

By the way I am joking about getting Gerber

Leaf Lunch radio today reported that Chirelli did indeed present a package to SJ but Toronto came in beat the deal. PC was even a bit taken back as he thought the deal he put on the table was better than the one Toronto offered. (1st, 2nd and 4th)

Thomas is a #2 and PC wants him in tha role. At worst, PC will bring in a guy to share the load effectively. Cujo?

thomas is at best a backup. i wouldnt mind seeing cujo in a bruins uniform as a cheap and temporary solution.

Agreed, Thomas is a good backup and also has the ability to step in short term in case of injury. I checked out Bryzgalov's bio. 6'3 and 208lbs. That's a big dude.
