Fernandez Deal "Not going to happen"

Guess we can say buh-bye to that. Minny wanted a 1st, 2nd, and PJ Axelsson for Fernandez. PC was not willing to do that, and thank god. Minny can eat his 8.7 million over the next 2 years if they are going to ask for that. The Bruins can now look at Ilya Bryzgalov and Marty Turco. The last rumor to surface was a 3 team deal in which Boston got Manny Fernandez, Edmonton got Glen Murray and Minnesota got Raffi Torres.

Something doesn't make sense here. First you say Minny wanted a 1st,2nd & P.J. Axelsson for Fernandez. Now you're saying they're willing to settle for just Raffi Torres in the 3 way deal?? It doesn't add up.

Like I said, they are all just rumors I found. Not saying they are true. But yeah it doesn't add up. It's been hard to see what Minny really wants.

Bryzgalov is not the answer. He was only 2 games over .500 on a much better all around team then the Bruins.
Minnesota wants WAY too much for Manny. He is not worth it, especially with his moodiness and lack of work ethic.
Toronto overpaid for Toskala, considering he wasn't even the starter. But good for San Jose, they just made themselves even deeper.
As for Belfour, he had good numbers on a weak team in Florida. 27-17-10 2.77gaa .902 sv%.
We are not going to get an elite goalie with what we have to offer in a trade. There are no elite goalies left in UFA.... so we might as well shore up the defense and bring in the best possible goaltender to help Thomas.
Belfour beats out Weekes, Thibault, Esche, Boucher, Burke and Aebischer, regardless of age.

Is Belfour a better option over Cujo? I worry about Eddies bad back. I wonder if Cujo would even be interested in Boston.
