Bruins Defense

Quick rundown of the likely Bruins' defenseman.

Aaron Ward
Zdeno Chara
Andrew Alberts
Andrew Ference

All of them are locks to make the roster barring a trade. As for Dennis Wideman, I left him off the roster for a reason. He sucked in the defensive zone, and he sucked on offense. A guy like Brian Rafalski would be a much better defenseman to add for the offense and then you could have a guy like Mark Stuart and Matt Lashoff as your 6th defenseman. Wideman could easily be dealt for a draft pick or in a package deal with another player.

The Problem with Wideman is the fact that he's a PC guy. This guy will make the roster no matter what. That's pretty bad considering the fact that we have better in Lashoff...

Wideman was not that bad. Give your head a shake or at least provide some facts with those kinds of statements.

Wideman played well, unfortunately, he played with a bunch of other guys who played well. If the other guys played good or for that matter, their best, so would have Wideman. Wideman was no worse than any other Bruin at the end of the season.

Need I say more? Honestly, what games were you watching, Wideman sucked on both ends of the ice.

Same games buddy. Please, name 5 D-men who played better than Wideman. This should be interesting.

Bad positionning and make too many defensives lapses on a team who create these at an impressive rates. Wideman do not have the skating ability of PP specialist. If something happend at the blueline, on a PP, a breakaway is unevitable. I wonder why this trade was made...

I took the liberty of rephrasing your first sentence....Here you go.

Need I say more? Honestly, what games were you watching, "THE BRUINS" sucked on both ends of the ice.

You're missing the point. You're also using Wideman as a scapegoat for the horid play of this TEAM. You also can't get over the loss of Boyes, who by the way played like absolute pooh for the Bruins and Blues. Boyes is no great loss.
