Brandon Bochenski....550,000
Hannu Toivonen.......585,000
Dennis Wideman.......510,000
Andrew Alberts.......712,000
Buyouts
Travis Green.........208,000
Total (No RFA's)..37,796,000
Total (W/ RFA's)..40,153,000 (+/- 100,000).
Rough Total.......40,250,000
Cap Space..........7,750,000
UFA ('07 Salary/Cost to Resign).
Petr Tenkrat.........525,000....500,000
Jason York...........500,000....450,000
Jeremy Reich.........450,000....450,000
Bobby Allen..........450,000....800,000
It remains to be seen what will happen with Tenkrat, Reich, and Allen. We all but know Jason York will be given the exit. Tenkrat is a nice player, but doesn't seem to be needed as we already have a lot of similar players like him on the roster (Chistov, Kobasew). If he signs a two-way deal maybe he could come back. Allen is a guy I personally like, but he could commend around 1 million to resign, which isn't to bad. Unless the Bruins are looking for a 2nd tier defenseman ala Adrian Aucoin (buyout), Roman Hamrlik, or a Mathieu Schneider. Reich would be nice to have back, unless the Bruins are going to go out and sign Donald Brashear or something.
Alberts could get a long term extension, or the Bruins could wait until they gain more cap flexibility.
Glen Murray could easily be dealt. He is a nice player on the team, but 4.15 million needs to get you more than 25-30 goals and 55-60 points.
The main need is to get a consistant 30-40 goal scorer, ala Hossa, Heatley, St. Louis, or something.

The team is quite OK - the coach is the problem !
shut up anonymous we have the talent they just have no clue how the hell to use it..
only ufa they should resign is petr tenkrat, he has played well for some one we got for a seventh rounder
S-CAN Super Dave ASAP!!
tenkrat was a free agent signing
Thomas *is* an elite goaltender
another disgraceful lose. this team is brutes. dave lewis is by far the worst coach to ever coach this team. sorry number4bobbyorr, you need to realize this team has the talent and the ability to succeed, but they have no motivation and no passion which is a result of bad coaching. the poor coaching style got this team disinterested in every aspect of the game, and it has shown, especially recently.
i know your a big lewis fan and everyone who criticizes lewis, "does not know hockey", but you are wrong, completely wrong.
Glad that you received my paiement, Jimmy

When did I say anything different? It *may* be the result of bad coaching, and it might not. It's easy to claim you know one way or another, but that doesn't make it so. It might simply be because they haven't played long enough together as a team. It may be that Lewis knew going in it would take more than one season. I wouldn't want to be in PC shoes this summer.
This isn't our Bruins anymore. Thanks to Jacobs and his lockout strategy it's an expansion team. Being a Bruins fan, I have no idea how a loose group of players is bootstrapped into a real team, because in my 36 years as a fan that has *never* been a problem... until now.
