Ladislav Nagy would be perfect on a line with Kessel.

Sturm, Koslov and Peca. If I could only take on, of the three I'd take Peca. He's a steal and plays with enormous heart.

Oh, and Brad Stuart... Why isn't he on the list. Do you know something we don't know? :-)

haha, no I don't. I know Stuart has said he wants to remain in Boston, but wants to see his market value first. I have a gut feeling they try hard to resign him for around 4 per. He is 27 entering his prime, got to lock him uo long term. With the expected cap increase to 47 or so million, it will be easier to resign, even if it costs 4.5 million.

I saw on that list that Alexander Mogilny was on the list of retirment, just a question on the devils, who did they send to San Jose again? I do not think it was Mogilny

I want Chris Phillips and Mike Peca. We would instantly be a better defensive team. Peca would fix our penalty kill and Phillips would steady our defence.

Did we sign Stuart when I wasn't looking?? I noticed he was not on the list. We don't need a goalie.

Realisticly the Bruins don't have alot of money to play around with... They will get 1.05 back from McEachern at the end of the year. IF they let Sturm and B. Stuart walk they will have money to play with but if they get one of these big names that leaves an opening for the Bruins. I would love to see Lashoff up but we need B. Stuart.

If I was a GM these are the guys I would go after
G- JS Gigure or Biron (Biron cheaper choice)
D- The B's have always like Brewer and he's a fit here, also Phillips and Preissing with the Cherli link
LW- Kozlov (but not a good fit with the B's) For the Bruins Shanny, Smyth, Tkachuk (for a home town discount only) Those 3 are likely Shanny has a house here and they are all tough Bostonian type of guys
RW- I'd love Selanne (but he's a West coast guy and don't fit in here) Doan or Tucker. I think Boston fans would love Tucker but I don't see him leaving Toronto
C- A bunch of guys stick out Briere, Drury, Sakic, Datsyuk, Todd White, and Forsberg.
I don't see Sakic leaving Denver. Datsyuk is having an off year and him and White would be the cheapest but good players. Briere, Drury, and Forsberg would be splashes. I'd have to go with Briere or Drury here there both younger and don;t get as hurt as Forsberg. I'd take Briere brings a physical presents, a scoring touch, great skater, and shows alot of emotion

With the predicted increase in salary cap for next year, I think Bruins biggest move will be resigning Brad Stuart. It'll probably cost them in the area between Kaberle and Macabe..In my opinion, he's better than both..
It's really tough to say at this moment if we need a netminder next year..Can TT continue to carry the load all season??Will Hannu turn his game around??How long will it take Rask to develop?? Lastly, I'm probably the only person around who honestly believes Brian Finley will eventually be a #1 goaltender..If he can ever go a length of time injury free, he'll prove why he was selected 5th overall by Nashville!!

Daniel Briere to the Bruins is the worst idea I have ever heard in my entire life. If he ever came here I would not watch one more game.

What is wrong with Daniel Briere, Joe? He is great player

haha yeah hes a good player. I just hate him beause he's on the Sabres. Everytime I see the Bruins play the Sabres I hope someone lays him out. He's like Ribeiro, I just do not like him. He plays hard and is effective, but then other times he dives and cries like a baby.

So why wouldn't you want him on your team, he's effective. He's the type of player the Bruins need and want. Ribeiro is a differnt story, he's your typical french canadian, not to mention he played for the Habs. Personally I like Briere, I think he's a top 20 forward and brings more depth up front and a lot of speed.

Yeah Briere would be great on the Bruins. But it is very unlikely to happen. We have 3 centers signed for the next years to come (Kessel wont be UFA until 2011 season, Bergeron signed a 5 year deal, Savard signed a 4 year deal.)Not to mention Briere got 5 mil this past season, which means he will get a raise, meaning the Bruins will def not be able to afford him. I don't think he would be worth that money anyways. Personally I do not like Briere at all. I think he's a very good player(not top 20 in the league however) but I do not like him. There are some players you like and others you don't. Briere happens to be one of those players I do not like. I guess it is a personal choice and I would not like to see him on the Bruins.
