York Out; Stuart Coming Back

Dave Lewis announced that defenseman Jason York will be undergoing arthoscopic knee surgery. It is unknown when and how he hurt it and Dave Lewish would not tell which knee it was.

Brad Stuart traveled with the team to Atlanta but won't play tonight. He could return to the lineup this week.

Good news. To know that York will be sideline for a couple of days will help the defensive greatly. Now, we have to dump Dempsey for a couple of weeks too....

I agree that Lashoff have made some rookies mistakes. That said, i prefer " to lose " on a rookie mistake then on a veteran's one. I think Dempsey's faith will be related with Mark Stuart play. If i remember correctly, Mark Stuart was good last year. If Stuart is able to offer the same kind of performances, i think York and Dempsey would the odd mans out.

Your point regarding the fact that we have to be careful with our youngsters is very accurate. I just wonder what the team should do when their youngsters offer a better performances then their veterans.
