I have been getting a lot of "negative" comments toward the posters lately. Please, I will not accept any comments regarding the negativity of the posters. If you have an issue with the site, use the email and I will gladly answer any questions. It is not fair to bash Neb, Latrappe, Me, and others. We work hard on our posts, and granted we make some spelling and grammer errors, but does it really matter? Please, keep your negative comments to yourself.

Hey, going off topic here but I thought this may be a good question to ask.
After last seasons poor performance by goalie Andrew Raycroft, your team gave up on him. Judging by his excellent performance so far (especially this week), do you think it was a Bad trade? My team is the Leafs but earlier before the season started everyone thought it was a bad idea and that in a few years the Bruins will look back and say they won the deal (with Rask). I, personally, think the Leafs made an excellent choice and that they definetely WON the trade but what do you think?
And as for Gill, for those people who were happy to get rid of him then you just never seen him play. Gill is one of the best penalty killers on the team and so far he has only 1 goal and 3 points. In my opinion, hes doing great and at one point he was leading the team in +/- but not anymore, i think he's at a -1 right now.
Come back in 10 years, who was better Rask or Raycroft?
In fact, Raycroft ask to be traded. So, there's no point to keep an unhappy player on your team or balme the team for that trade. Of course, the way MOC handled the situation didn't help at all in this particular case. I think Raycroft make a HUGE mistake, last year , with his " holdout " strategy.
He was late on the ice and was not prepared enough for his season. He simply suffer the consequences of his strategy. Yes, he's better this year but he probably prepared way much better then he did after the one year hiatus. Rask is considered, by some scouts , as the best goaltender in the world right now. I think the management did the best they can to get the maximum value of Raycroft. I think they did.

Being an amateur writer on the internet is not easy. You're ( as a writer ) an easy target for peoples who use their spare time to bash other peoples because they have nothing else to do. It was kind of funny to see peoples from another board come here and bash one of your writer simply because he disagree. That kind of attitude is a plague on the internet. Those " so call " Experts who cannot stand a different opinion and prefer to live in their own world simply kill the spirit of a blog which is to debate freely on various subjects. Those bashers should apply this mantra: " You can disagree without being disagreeable ".

hfboards is a breeding ground for the bashers. I have had a similar experience on there. Not to the degree that latrappe had, but enough that I am careful what i write.
