A #1 goalie another team doesn't want and less offense? No thanks.
If they can get him for <$2MM then I say why not? I think if he's not expecting to play 25 minutes a game, then he'd be a good fit right now. Stuart's out for a bit and Alberts, who played a great first period Thursday, is gone for a bit more. I'm glad Jerky is going to get some ice as I think he deserves it more than Dempsey (who scares the Jeebus out of me), but now that we've lost 2 of our top 5 D, we can't let this spiral out of control. When everyone's healthy, a top 6 D of Chara, Stuart, Mara, Leetch, Alberts and Jurcina would be one of the more balanced D in the Conference.
Am I high?

No ever heard of Matt Lashoff he'll be called up or Allen
Regarding Leetch.
Chiarelli dismissed free agent Brian Leetch, who’d hoped to return to the B’s this year, as an option.
“He just wouldn’t fit into our equation right now,” said Chiarelli.
I would rather see that money spent on Jason Allison, he would chip in with the scoring. Even if he's just used for the PP (which is struggling) he would be worth it.
