Bruins Get Smoked

Bruins-2 Sabres-6

I actually did not get a chance to watch the game. But, Brookbank had a very nice goal, and Kessel finally lit the lamp. From what I've read, Toivonen sucked and his puck handling was horendous. I don't really have much to say since I did not watch the game.

They hung with Buffalo for the first period. They looked good and if it weren't for Hannu dropping his stick (could have happend to anyone) they would have been tied at the end of the first. Hannu did not suck.

Things went downhill from there as the best team in the NHL outplayed them predicably in the second and anything that hapened after that was just icing on their cake.

What the hell did people expect? Get real. Buffalo would have won the cup last year if not for running into a good team with a super hot goaltender. They are a very dangerous team in their prime and in their stride and for the Bruins the best they could expect was to surprise them on a bad night. They didn't. So shoot the goalie then? Utter nonsense! This team just needs to work hard and come together and maybe some place down the road they will see success. You trade awway what little offense they have now and when they do poorly then what? Who's next? Bergeron? That's where this is going! I have been a Bruins fan for 35 years, and what I want is for them to build a team, not tinker with one.

They hung with Buffalo for the first period. They looked good. Build on that.

the bruins tottaly out played buffalo for most of the game the score does not indicate how the bruins played. If it wasn't for soft goals by Hannu terrible officaty and the bruins finishing more of there chances we win that game easy

Hannu did suck, he didn't just drop his stick, he fell on his face. That should have totally deflated the Bruins, but they actually played quite well. They had good puck control had created some good scoring oppurtunities. If Biron had of been in our net and Hannu in theirs, the Bruins would have won that game. Thomas played well after coming in for Hannu. The Penalty Kill on the other hand still needs some work.
