Goaltending Change?

Look guys, come to reality. 6 goals vs Buffalo, 8 vs Florida, 2 goals in 2 min vs St. Louis. Where only 7 games in. This tandom of Thomas and Toivonen will not carry this team. Period. No I am not overreacting. We need to acquire Nabakov, Biron, or Giguere. Then are goalies can "steal a win" or 2. This team will not go anywhere this season, and I hate to say this, but you are wasting the prime of Marco Sturm, Brad Stuart, Zdeno Chara, Marc Savard and others. Unless Toivonen shapes up, look for Nabakov or someone to make his way over.

Stuarts injured any idea of how long it will be? I think Lashoff should get a shot just to see how he adjusts to the NHL for the next 2-4 weeks while Alberts is injured, especially with Mark Stuart about 3 weeks away from making a return anyways.

I agree, Hannu has played like garbage, I say trade him to Buffalo for Biron and keep Thomas as our backup. Thomas hasn't been great either, but Hannu has looked shakey in all of his games. Then we can develope Rask into the goalie for the future. Secondly I'm not overly thrilled about all the rumours of Glen Murray and P.J Axelsson being traded. P.J is off to a slow start offensively, but he's too good in his own end to give up on now. I wouldn't mind seeing Savard being packaged in for a goalie either. He hasn't impressed me one bit. He gives the puck away way too much. On a happier note, it was great to see Kessel pot his first goal last night. He generated a lot of chances in the games leading up to the Buffalo game, but like mennonite furniture, he had no finish. I think the flood gates will be open now and Kessel's name will be more and more frequently found on the score sheet. It will be interesting to see what the Bruins do or not do over the next month. I just hope after all is said and done, Muzz is still wearing the black and gold.

This team is going to suck for the first half of the year no matter what. There is talent there isn't chemistry yet. Once they win a couple of big games against top teams the confidence and chemistry will be there. No need to start dumping players 7 games into the season this is an almost all new team with the worst starting schedule in the league. I think the first half will be rough but will improve and look for a big second half to finish 7th-8th and lose in the second round. A trade of goalies Axelsson or Murray will only cause more panic with the players and make things worse much like the thorton trade. It's only been 7 games and everyone wants to start over again this is not a cup team this year amd never will be this year so why make changes that won't matter in the end for sake of change. Let things go and let the players get to know each other.
