B's vs. Habs - A National Perspective
I found the playoff matchup page on TSN Canada to be very interesting. Check out the videos on their page as their analysts are all saying the Bruins definitely stole the momentum in the series with their win yesterday. Furthermore, they all agreed that the B's were the better team on Saturday. I whole heartily agree with their perspective, however, it's refreshing and encouraging to see it come from a media outlet outside of New England.
Anyone else love the sight of this picture? Lets hope there will be more of this tomorrow night.

Check out this stat:
Montreal vs rest of league - 39 wins
Bruins vs rest of league - 41 wins
Unfortunately for the bruins this regular season, they have to play the habs 8 times, so that stat doesn't really count. It's still very interesting to see how they were against the rest of the league, but given that they're playing each other in the playoffs that goes out the window.
bob mckenzie sucks. i have been watching im since he wore a mullet and was 30kg heavier.
tsn has the worst talent of all...glenn healy hates the bruins (it's obvious), dutchie is a jerk and hedger doesn't know sports.
ever since hazel mae left for nesn (from sportsnet) it has gone down hill too!
TSN is all pro-canadian team so anything good they have to say about the Bs is just to motivate the sinking Habs. I only go there to bash the Habs fans in the message boards.
Let's get one thing straight - Kovalev, Hamrlik, Plekanec, Koivu, Kostitsyn, Markov - the Habs are no more Canadian than any one else. Sure TSN is pro-Canada, but only because they can't cheer on the Leafs or Sens - and yes they give absolutely no respect to the Bruins. To those of you who can - two words Don Cherry - Mr PRO CANADA, on CBC last night - said three interesting things 1) Korvolev (that's how he says Kovalev) still doesn't impress him 2) Marc Savard is stepping up 3) and Milan Lucic is his favorite player to watch. Oh and he also said in true Canadian fashion "My Bruins...geez it should be 2-1 for Boston eh the way they played Saturday?...". Anyways, as I told some people, maybe Boston would have won Saturday but that would have changed Montreal's attack for Game 3, so we could ahve lost game 3 and still be down 2-1. Couple of things to consider - 1) All this attention being given to Lucic menas they will be gunning for him. Not Chara but Lucic. Expect a hack, a cheap shot, something. It's the last desperation mvoe of a team to try and steal back momentum in a visitor's building. Bad for them, Lucic can defend himself. 2) Keep it simple and we can tie the series and completely take the air out of Montreal. And no Canadiens fans should be allowed at Bruin games. I am Canadian and I am from Montreal - btu I have my Bruins jersey and my tickets for Game 6 in hand! GO BRUINS GO! But please, I hate these nailbiters as my blood pressure goes through the roof when we're tied with 5 minutes to go. Any stupid call, any stupid deflection and it's 3-1 Montreal going back to the Bell Centre. I like it better when it's 3-1 Bruins late. They look more comfortable. Series Conn Smythe has to be Thomas, Lucic and Schaefer (finally showing up). GO BRUINS GO!!
game 4
montreal's game plan: give the puck to kovalev and hope he scores
bruis game plan: kill kovalev. drape pj all over him.
BIG, BIG, game tonight if we can win tonight and thursday we are in the driver seat! But one game at a time. Where the hell is Bergeron? One day he's cleared the next day he's not. what's going on? GO BRUINS GO from Michigan
Is it just me, or is Glenn Murray the worst player in the league? He's terrible and its time for him to retire... please before game 4.
would u rather have murray or kessel sit?
i think murray
