Peguins land the big one

Pittsburgh was the winners today. They got Marian Hossa and Pascal Dupuis for Colby Armstrong, Erik Christensen, Angelo Esposito, and thier first round pick for the 08 draft.

It is alot that they gave up. However, Hossa is a guy that can really help out the young players in Pittsburgh. How about this powerplay; Hossa, Crosby, Malkin, Gonchar, Ryan Whitney. Not to mention Crosby will be coming back shortly. Pittsburgh could give up a lot but they are now the front runners for the Cup.

Nothing came through for the B's. I was hoping we would pick up another D-man, but I am happy that we have the players we do right now, and I look forward to seeing who they can pick up in the off-season and how well they play together next year. Go B's.

OH - And the penguins are super scary.

Well, looks like the penguins know how to get shit done. Unlike Chiapet. I was sure that having my favorite player, Cam Neely up there would get shit done. Im so sick of the Boring, brutal, Bruins never getting anything done. Grow balls and take some chances. Why not trade Kessel, Murray and a draft pick for Hossa. Just do something. We need a scorer. What a waste of talent with Savard. He is a truley gifted playmaker. Who does he have for help, Oh wait its the overpaid washup, Murray. Wow he sure is worth 4 mil. If it weren't for Savard, Thomas and Lucic this team would be dead to me. Understand this, Bergeron is not coming back, we need help. Now its too late. Sick to my stomach. Decades of the same bullshit. Grow some balls Boston. Even if we make it to the playoffs, we cant win a series on one or two goals. We will get destroyed. I feel sorry for Julien having very little to work with. Nice work! Once again, there goes the season.

Bruins end-up looking pretty good at the end of today...
montreal has no huet, sabres practically dismantled their defense, rangers snagged some 4th liners, flyers still suck and the isles are a mess again.
I think we're a lock for the second round at least...

No, he did not (from what I have read). Pen's gave up WAY too much for a rental player. They still have no defense or goaltending so it should be interesting what happens. They ae in no way a cup contending team.

What a waste..

The Bruins did the right thing, considering you can get Hossa in the off season costing no players, picks and prospects. If you think Kessel and Murray are worth the same as Christensen, Armstrong and Esposito you are a fool. Waddell probably had a certain deal he wanted from PC. He knows Boston is starved for goals, so he would ask for more from Boston. PC did the right thing.
