JR hangs'em up

It was known that JR was going to hang them up it was just a matter of time. Offically yesterday he is no longer an NHL player. JR is one of those guys you either love them or hate them. JR was first seen here in Mass at Thayer Academy where he tore it up with Tony Amonte who might also hang them up. JR is known for being the lound mouth. He will probally get a chance to be on TV weather it's in movies, NBC hockey coverage, or Versus. Thoughts on JR?

JR was the man! Obviously, his glory days were well behind him while he was playing in the desert but he was a heck of a player. Only 5 goals away from 500, i'm surprised that he didn't stick with it another year to get there.

I loved how he would piss people off with his comments. If he were ever alongside Grapes and Hull on NBC playoff covereage I think a fistfight would break out.

It would have ben nice to have him for a hometown discount so he could break 500 in front of the family.... and oh yeah, we could use a washed up, aging, pissed-off winger.

Any one see JR as a Bruin to finish his career...I know a lot of people have probably said it before but does he have anything to offer us still, now that he is not officially retired.
Would be a great story Boston Native comes in to help a miserable team, brings some hardware to boston...I know I'm dreaming but on a serious side is this a possibility?
