i agree if Murray goes i want Marleau
are the bruins going to sign anybody or are they going to let all the free agents sign elsewhere
i think marleau would like to play alongside sturm again... they are good buddies... and marleau was sturms best man... but i think this won't happen... SJ might do it if we pack bergy or two prospects like krejci and lashoff... and the B's were often dumb enough to do such things...

What's with all the talk about dumping salaries before we can do anything?? Maybe I'm wrong, but don't we still have about 6-7 million ??

There is no way SJ will trade Patrick Marleau(or Cheechoo) for Glen Murray! The bruins will be lucky to get a mid level draft pick for him. Every team knows that the Bruins are trying to dump his salary and I am sure they realize he is a bit older and becoming a bit of a band-aid boy. I must say though that if Bill Guerin is getting 4.5 a year on the open market then I would hold on to Glen because he is a far better player then Guerin.
