Heres my lineup for next year

Karsums-Savard-Murray
Kalus-Bergeron-Bochenski
Sturm-Kessel-Kobasew
Axelsson-Reich-Donovan

Ference-Chara
Alberts-Wideman
Lashoff-Ward

Then go out and sign a goalie and make Thomas the backup.

I dont think Sturm will be playing on the third line anytime soon.

It would also be a surprise to see both Karsums and Kalus make it, though id be all for it if they are good enough to.

Axelsson is certainly not a fourth line player.

I figure it is too early for line-up predictions (although I know it can be fun).

As for signings. It sure is nice to see so much cap room available! I do think they will make a hard pitch for Chris Phillips. And given Chiarelli's Ottawa past could it give him a little leverage?

I don't necessarily think they should get a goalie. I know thats probably not a popular thing for me to say though. Biron might not be bad. You could see a Thomas/Biron platoon, however I dont think as a whole Biron is any more proven than Thomas. I still have a dream that Hannu can get out of his funk, get his confidence back.

stu, the bruins need balance and consistency. that is why they struggle this season. havin 3 lines, and then a checking line is a bad idea in your mind? I'm a fan of those lines, put people in situations where they can actually succeed.

No way Biron signs for 1 yr. 3 or 4 maybe. And if the Bruins go after a Biron type, he won't be platooning with Thomas. Thomas will be his backup. If we want to platoon, why not Dunham, Thibault, or Belfour?
And not to mention... Biron will be looking for 2+ a year.
