I think Thomas and Toivonen will switch off for about the first 20 games until one gets hot. But good for timmy to get the opening night start after having such a good preseason
I would have start with Hannu. He will be our guy in the future so i think it would have send a good message to the team. Thomas is good but we have to developp Hannu. He's the reason why Raycroft was let go..
Note to Latrappe:
You better begin taking back what you said about the Leafs, "they are not a playoff team."
After tonights outstanding 6-0 shutout, this certainly proves the Leafs know how to bounce back after a tough loss. It was all toronto, and raycroft got his first shutout as a leaf making 33+ saves! Excellent game!!!!!
Ottawa was sloppy and lazy tonight... Don't get excited too fast my friend..
Like Mcguire, Mckenzie and co. I maintain what i have said... Not a playoff team...
The senators had 34 shots on net!!!!! They werent sloppy, they had things together. Just their defense and goaltending was sloppy, but we'll just wait and see.
