Shopping for Goaltending?

After last night game, Lewis was clear : The way we lost . . .," mused Lewis, his Bruins 2-5-0-1 after last night's 3-2 loss to the Canadiens at the Garden, "I still think saves can be made ".

Update: Fluto Shinzawa report that Chirarelli is " moving closer to making a deal, but isn't close to pulling the trigger ".

Latrappe's take: Of course, that saves have to be made. I think that PC will probably take the phone, starting today to explore the possibilty to acquire a legitimate #1. When your coach is ringing the alarm bell; it's time to do something.

I hope PJ gets traded right after the game on saturday. It will make it easy him and Vermette can just trade jerseys.

laptrap.....you are too much. the goal tending is average - on this team but by far not the biggest problem. this team has very little offensive talent in players 6-18. our top five players could also use to produce more but if they got any help whatsoever from the likes of primeau, mara, donovan, sturm, alberts, dempsey, york, mowers, brookbank and statsny...anything at all from these guys and we can win some games....until the roll players play a hint of an offensive roll, no goalie will look good on this team.

2 goals a game in a 4 goals a game league is not going to cut it
