And Scott brings what?!! Does PC think that we will believe he is anywhere near his cousin? Just another guy to fight for time on the third and fourth lines. Will also slow down progress of the youngsters coming up!

I agree......let's get going here ! I understand we are not in the running for the big names. But there are lots of mid range guys that could help !

It's Shawn Thorton not scott. He's no relation to joe or scott

Hmmm, another waste of $? Per TSN:

Assets: Owns an infectious attitude and never stops his motor while on the ice. Plays a crash-and-bang game and is a willing combatant.

Flaws: Lacks skill and must work doubly hard for every point he earns. Isn't considered a heavyweight pugilist.

Career Potential: Part-time enforcer.

OK, we can use some grit, but I'd rather have it with some offensive skills, rather than just a good attitude...

O.K....the first day is done. What can we really look to the Bruins to do ? Bertuzzi, Guerin...?????

This guy is not only a waste of money, but a waste of space on the roster. We need to get tougher and bigger true but isn't there anyone who is both that can actually skate too?
We go from Chara/Savard one year to this loser the next, I would have preferred going one step down rather than a whole flight of stairs.

granted he isn't an allstar but he is a great pickup for what he does. The Bruins were the team that no one dressed an enforcer for last year, we are not a physical team and need this grit. He'll be a similar figure to PJ Stock, you'll see, a good pick up. He just played in 15 playoff games and won a cup. A good locker room guy with toughness and winning attitude is what we need. Unless you prefer a 4th line of Mowers, Donovan and Chistov

Just a reminder to everyone. Jeff gorton brought us Chara and Savard. Chiarelli has done nothing to improve this team. Fernandez? give me a break!!
