I think Manny will look great in the black and gold. I read something about PJ Axelson going to minnesota in the trade..anybody else hear that?
Fernandez is 31, coming off a knee injury and makes 4.5 next year and 4.75 the year after. By comparison Kiprusoff makes 3.6 a year. Other teams are in need of a goalie (LA and Phoenix to name a couple) so I understand the demand, but Fernandez is not in the proven class of Vokoun nor does he have the potential Toskala has. Lets spend our money elsewhere, like on the blueline.
Vokoun is not much healthier. Kippo will get a HUGE raise...
