Also Brewer and Legace resigned with the Blues today.
Nice move, Sturm could've got around 4+ on the open market.
they had to wait... if you give a player a raise next season - part of that raise goes towards this years cap.. therefore since the bruins were so close to the cap they needed to wait until as few as possible games at the new cap number counted against their overall cap for this year.
Cap won't count this season, if signed after January 1st. Great signing by PC.
