Cap to Increase Next Season
Good news Bruins fans! Due to increased revenue, largely in part of part of increased ticket sales, it's believed the salary cap will jump from this season's $44 million to between $46 million and $47.5 million next season.
This means that the Bruins have a much better chance of resigning Brad Stuart and signing a top 6 winger.

I'd forgotten about that cap increases. But isn't attendence down quite a bit from last year? I can't help but wonder if the lack of exposure on a more readily-available national TV network isn't starting to hurt too. Do you know when a decision will be made on the cap for next year?
I could be wrong here but i think the can increase the cap by reducing the escrow, too. Maybe someone knows more specifics about his situation.
Tickets are more expensive, attendence down, but since more money is coming in, cap increases.
